Get Help for Those in Need

St. Vincent dePaul Ministry offers several services for those in need – Food Panty Services, Financial Assistance, Goods & Services and Advocacy & Resources.

Food Pantry Services

Clients may receive food orders once a month and more often with prior approval.  There are shelf-stable foods and perishable foods such as meat, eggs, and butter.  Personal care items and nonprescription medication is also usually available.

Financial Assistance

Emergency financial aid may be available for the following.

□ Housing                     □ Medical/Dental                   □ Auto

□ Utilities                       □ Home Repair                      □ Other

Requests for financial assistance require completion of a form.  Applications are received during office hours and submitted to our Board on Thursday afternoon for decisions based on available funds, organizational guidelines, and other factors.  Clients are notified of decisions as quickly as possible.

Assistance is provided by household even if multiple families or unrelated adults live at the same address.  Payments are made directly to a utility company, landlord, etc.  For some requests it may be necessary to contact additional agencies, landlords, utility companies, etc., to verify information or make payment arrangements.

Goods & Services

Assistance in locating appliances, furniture, household items, clothing, and various services will be provided as needed.

Advocacy & Resources

Referrals may be made to other agencies and organizations for needs that are better served by those organizations.  In addition to material and emotional assistance, one of our founding offerings is spiritual support.  Through the pure and simple power of prayer, you can help yourself or a neighbor in need find strength, hope and guidance.
