As important, St. Vincent de Paul Ministry provides meaningful opportunities for volunteers to serve their neighbors in need with love and compassion. We provide help for people’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs. By doing this with care and respect, we show them that they matter and they are children of God.
The local St. Vincent de Paul Ministry has been serving residents in our communities since 2007 helping those with critical needs. Residents in need who live within the school districts of Martin, Otsego, and Plainwell are eligible for services.
Goals and Objectives
► Provide direct financial assistance for emergency needs.
► Maintain a food pantry.
► Interact with and refer to other agencies and support services.
► Work with clients to problem solve, explore options, educate, encourage, and support.
► Pray privately for our clients and with them as requested.
How St. Vincent de Paul Ministry is Supported
This ministry is made possible through individual donations from local residents and businesses, as well as corporate contributions. The proceeds from fundraising events and grants also add to revenue.
